ACTING LAB

ACTING LAB

Our acting classes consist of two modules, each lasting a total of 30 hours. The classes are entirely practice-based and begin with fundamental acting techniques. We offer two separate programs tailored for adults (17+) and younger participants.

Our approach is rooted in the exercises of Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekhov, and Mike Alfreds. The workshop is designed to help aspiring actors develop a deeper self-awareness, enhance their empathy, and expand their imagination. Participants also gain a solid understanding of essential acting concepts and tools.

While the first module focuses on the actor’s body, imagination, desire, and movement, the second module deepens the work through scene study and key theatrical elements such as:

Module I:

– Body
– Imagination
– Desire
– Movement

Module II:

– Movement Qualities
– Psychological Gesture
– Atmosphere
– Archetypes
– Narrative

Module III:

 Character Journey

 The Actor–Character Relationship.
– Narrative Theatre: Set, Costume, Light, and Character.
– Building a Role Through a Single Text.
